Today is my 12th anniversary since joining AR. When I first found this site my wife had purchased a safari for my 50th birthday and I was searching the internet looking to educate myself on all things Africa before we went.
We have since been back to Africa again as well as hunting in Argentina.
What I have learned here (with apologies to Mike Dettore) has been invaluable to our safari experiences from dealing with travel issues to customs to trophy judgement and taxidermy and the list could go on and on.
Oh, and I've made some good friends along the way, some have been met in person, some just as handles on the site but friends none the less.
And I would be remiss if I didn't give a shout out to our host Saeed for supporting the site and providing a forum for so much information and entertainment.
Looking forward to many more hunts, friends and years on AR.
