I made an original booking for a 2008 hunt for Zim/RSA in 2006. Originally wife and step-daughter were planning to come along. Last Summer wife figured out that 2 hrs on a plane was enough for her so she decided to cancel out (and that means step-daughter too). That decreased costs a lot for me, they're going on a girls outing to Eureka Spring to shop and have spa treatments. The safari turned into spa/shopping is step-daughter's graduation present. Now even more changes. The outfitter originally had arrangemets with other operators in Southern Zim. I was originally told we'd have a 2-3 hr drive from Northern RSA. (I figure this would be Beitbridge campfire area). He just e-mailed me with an e-mail of a location change: Sapi. I can't help but think about a thread about a location change a couple of years ago that seemed to have a life of it's own; but I'm pretty sure that changing from southern Zim to the Zambezi Valley has to be a change for the better. No matter what, I'll be able to say I hunted in the Zambezi valley. Caleb

I think that's excellent news. I really fell in love with the Zambezi Valley. _______________________________
