Hi all

First can I say thanks to everyone that made kind offers of hospitality for my spare days in RSA in June.

However I can't take them up as I got abetter offer due to my wife deciding to come and join me for a week. We are doing a three day trip into the Kruger with some friends from UK , but I have 3 days in Joburg where I'd like to find a nice spa resort or some such with good restaurants.

Someone told me about a big complex which the airline staff use but I can't remember the name.

Any suggestions?

Mate,

you'd be better getting out of Jo'burg and going up to the KNP area for longer..... I can give you plenty of things to do and places to go up there if you need it.

Hey bud.

I thought of that as Elaine could fly into Nelspruit and we could find a resort near there.

Much better idea...... the Casterbridge Centre just outside White River has a nice/newish hotel and there's also a few shops, restaurants, a bar or two and even a classic car museum right there.

You can be in the KNP in about 15 minutes, KMIA in 10 minutes, White River in 5 minutes and Nelspruit in 15 minutes.

And with a bit of luck you might even be able to meet up with Luan in the pub there. tu2

Oh and if you're a golfer, you've also got a good course at the White River Country Estate where I used to live about 3 minutes down the road.

Here you go.

Oh and there's also a cinema there as well.

I can't say it would go down well if she came all the way down there to see me and I go out to play golf! Luckily it's not my game.

I think that place may just about be spot on for what we are after.

Is it near the Mahlalahn entrance?

Numbi is about 15 minutes & there's a new gate (Pretorius?) even closer. Malalan is further though.
