I know that a lot of hunters don't like talking about their individual bags, but I have often wondered who are the most experienced elephant hunters on this forum. By that I mean elephants shot,(as opposed to guiding the hunt), excluding of course the obvious answer, ie Richard Harland.

It would definitely be Richard Harland on this or any other forum. Paul Grobler is still alive...in Australia in fact, but he isn't on any forums. That man has shot a LOT of elephants.

Norbert has shot a lot of elephants for a client.

I don't think Tony Sanchez-Arino posts here but his numbers (even if disputed) are very high.

If the universe is members of this Forum and not guides, I am guessing that it would be hard to beat Norbert.

I was at my taxidermist last week and he indicated that he has a client in Dallas whose goal is to shoot 100 elephant bulls and that he is well on his way to that total. Let's see, 100 times a conservative estimate of $30K equals someone with a lot of money that needs me to be their son.
