Lets make it 2:30pm daily for AR members to introduce and meet other AR members. I believe DSC is still offering us the hospitality room.

Will definitely see you there, Mike. Mind if I bring my shrink's couch to assist those with mental anguish after seeing firearms that are beyond their wildest dreams?

I'll drag Ed there every day at 2:30 clawing & screaming, whether he likes it or not. But I am amazed we can't get a good fight going over this.
However, there is something to say about Ed being there at 4:00, & all the rest of us being there at 2:30. Maybe I won't drag him there ........

I will try to tear myself away from my table in the custom guns section, if not, come by and say hello.

I always thought it would be a good idea to put your pseudonym on your name card so we recognize it.

Hi George,
It is a "Piraiba" they are typically catch, recover the fish and release. There is a chart back in camp based on a length conversion. This one was 5'9" and the chart says, 175-180#. There was one caught on our trip that was 6'7". 230-240#. They have caught (and weighed) 350#r's

Tremendous fighters, jump like Marlin at times.

Like a damn drug.

Haven't been able to attend a DSC convention in several years now. Really would like to meet some of the AR members, but just like in the past, I have hunters to guide the weekend of the convention.

Steve:
Many thanks for the reply and info.
Man, I'm 6'1" and regretfully weigh more than that 6'7" fish! Hell of it is I put 50 of the 54 back on since Jan. Am not able to exercise or walk much yet. So I just sit n read n eat, then move over here and do the same thing several more hours.

Why don't they eat those fish? Looks like they'd be great tasting and one would feed half the village.

What type bait is used? How long did it take to 'reel it in?"

Just one more thing, please post a picture of one's head so we can see what they look like.

Ah hell, forget it, just get back to fishin, I would!
Have fun while you can.
George

Looking forward to seeing fellow AR members.
Come by the Hunters Headquarters / Tuffpak booth on the corner just as you come upstairs at 4101/4103.
Besides your Tuffpak we will have Pak Lites, Havalon Knives. We will have some Meopta optics and Sure Fire flash lights at great prices.
Better tomorrows and Happy New Year to all.

470EDDY,
The meeting room is one of a series of rooms labeled C1, C2, ,,
It is the first one that you encounter (C1) on your right when walking from the underground parking garage elevators toward the registration area. Or, the last one on the left you encounter if walking down the concourse away from the registration area toward the parking garage elevators.
There is a tripod sign stand by the entrance with a 2 foot X 2 foot sign board on it; can not be read from afar.
I was by there yesterday between 2:45 and 3 pm and the room was empty, so I moved on. I will be back Saturday afternoon and will look in again as I walk from and to the parking garage elevators.
