Not sure if anyone has had this problem before but when we headed to Africa this year they told us that the ammo NEEDED to be in its original box of manufacture with the correct caliber on the box matching the headstamp of the round and we were like WTF! It was eventually OKd but it was a big hassle We flew out of Hawaii.

the locks don't have to be TSA accessable. THe case is to be unloacked at check it, or you will physically be present when they inspect the case and then it is locked. Depends on the set up at different airports. Just use regualar pad locks.

UltraMag, I know what your saying, I've flown to Africa 5 times, every time they have different guide lines! It's like you get to the airport, and hold your breath! "What this time!" Why can't they get a set of rules and go by them..... last year they told me only two guns to a case, and to top it off, they said it's always been that way. I tryed to explain to them that I've always taken 4 guns in my case, they told me I was mistaken, I didn't do that! believe it! After a long talk with 5 different airline agents they ok'd it. What if they told me no!!!!!!!!!
