I will be attending some of the shows/ conventions in the US early in the new year, and need some suggestions with regards to where to stay for the following dates and venues:
Dallas 8- 10 January
Houston 14-16 January
Reno 21-24 Janaury
If you have any suggestions, please include contact details of the establishemet if you can.
I will also be in Orlando for the SHOT show, form 16-18 Jan, but have made arrangements for that.

Also,if anyone would like to get together at any of these shows, let me know.

Karl S, many of us are staying at the Comfort Inn 7138 Stemmons Freeway. The rates are good and we will be having the Sat. night party there. If you don't stay there you are more than welsome to the get togeather there or the Fri night get togeather at Pappas BBQ.

KArl,

In case you haven't found it, here is a list of hotels at Reno. I'm sure the Peppermill and Atlantis are full up. There are rooms open at According to the last Safari Times (I got it yesterday) The Silver Legacy, Eldorado, Circus Circus, Siena, Grand Sierra, Nugget, Harrah's,
Sand's Regency, and Best Western Airport Plaza all have rooms blocked for SCI and have vacancies. Makes me wonder about attendance this year. Confused You can get rooms on line through the website or call 800 746 9724 (ShowSCI) and speak to a registration agent if that helps.
