it is a photographic safari camp in the Hwange/ Gwayi area run by forestry, nice setting, but needs a lot of work....often used as a base for hunters who hunt the Gwayi/ forestry areas!

Thank you Martin, im thinking of staying there after my hunt in Sep for some wildlife photos. Is it a good area for a photo safari or would you recommend something else ?

Thanks

Anton

Hi Anton

There are far better camps within the park that will offer you far better opportunities to see wildlife up close, drop me a PM, or email me so that I can give you some ideas.

Martin:

Doesn't Sharon Stead have a place in Hwange that's pretty posh but reasonably priced?

If she's operating it with the class with which she's sprucing up the Bulawayo Club, it must be pretty darn nice.

JudgeG ... just counting time 'til I am again finding balm in Gilead chilled out somewhere in the Selous.
