Use Enough GunHave Any of You Shot One of These?
I have hunted and shot a lot of African game, but never one of these. Have any of you hunted and shot this one? I recently found this tag in the skinning shed at Chamalaya on the Bubye Conservancy and thought you might be interested in what appears to be a new species.

N E 450 No2Yes I have. I shot a Monster Honey badger in Zimbabwe hunting in the SAVE.
I was in a Leopard blind and it came in to the bait, and I shot it with a Blaser R 93 in 308.

shootawayI was riding in the land cruiser having a beer pissed that I didn`t see much game, when the guys in the back saw a couple enter the bush.My PH wanted me to go after it and feeling the way I did I complied. We stopped the truck,I was handed my rifle,I chambered a 550 solid and entered the bush. The honey badgers were on the run and we were right behind them when one stopped and I put a solid through his back.

Use Enough GunAfter we initially saw this we were thinking that the tag could have been worse. The tag could have read Horney Bitch instead of Horney Badger. Obviously the PH had other things on his mind when he filled it out.

Mac, based on his next post, it is evident that Shoot-over-that-way didn't get it after all. But then again, is that so unusual for him?
