I've been putting off booking a hunt in RSA for most of the reasons that Russ mentions. I've hunted a 20,000 acre ranch in Namibia but the fence reminded me of hunting exotics ( eg- eland, fallow & axis deer in Texas). I 've hunted Zim 2x and Moz once. I still would like to go after blesbuck & black wildebeest in RSA if I can find a low-or unfenced area. Just my personal preference & no judgements on my part...

J, I enjoy hunting all over Africa, including RSA. All locations have their charm as well as positive and negatives. With RSA and Namibia, some I believe over emphasize the negative and forget about the positive effect of game ranching in RSA. If you're interested, please PM me; and, I can give you the name of an excellent RSA outfitter, who has over 110,000 acres with many blesbuck and black wildebeest. Great place for the spouse too. He put me onto a gold medal black wildebeest last trip. It was wild as hell, and I couldn't get within 250 yds of it, before I final shot it. Regards, AIU
