This will be my first time to Zimbabwe and my first time hunting Buffalo. I am so excited I can’t wait! I’m just marking days now! dancing

The human animal is an amazement...I book hunts in all the countries and I get more "Is Zim safe?" questions than any other..I tell it to them straight out, and that is I personally would hunt Zim, I have not had any problems in Zim, I wouldn't take my wife or a young kid to Zim right not, and I would not make any guarentees on a country that is a powder keg and could blow at some point but its cheaper and thats where the deals are right now....

And you can bet your bippie that they take the best bang for the buck and all else is nothing more than conversation!! stir rotflmo

Please take some video for us. That sounds like a very interesting hunt. What are you shooting and what range are you going to keep your shot to? I'm curious as to your equipment choices.
Take good care and good hunting

Yep, the hat and I will be in the Zambezi Valley with Chifuti on August 28th! Two days of tiger fishing then off to the safari camp for buffalo and a tuskless. Also hope to get a warthog, hyena, and that most dangerous of African game...the grysbok. Taking a Krieghoff .470 and a Dakota Traveler in .416 Rem and .300 H&H. I finally bought a good camera (a Leica D-Lux 3) so I hope to get some good photos.
