As some of you may know, John Noak ( AKA Lawndart) has been going thru a rough patch of road dealing with cancer.

I received an e-mail from his wife, Lois, indicating that his recovery is going well, albeit slowly, and he is regaining his strength.

Best wishes for a speedy recovery and I expect to see pictures of you blasting away with your new 416 Rigby in the near future Smiler

John has been a great participant on these boards and his insight and experience are missed. Here is wishing him a hale and hearty recovery! All the best John!

Best wishes for John. Just goes to prove you need to go hunting because you never know when you might not be able to for some reason.

John "Charlie" is one of the class acts on AR, very accomplished in many fields, medicine, a combat pilot, etc. Last time I talked with him he was caring for Tom Burgess some miles away although he was having problems himself. Hope he is improving.

John having some back ground with cancer myself I understand your plight! Positive thinking is the key along with your treatment! Keep your nose headed into the wind, and walk below the sky-line, and one day at a time you will lick this disease, and be back in the field doing what you love!

My prayers are with you John!

I am very humbled by the wonderful posts; thank you all.

The chemo is awful, and I have to take it for a long time, BUT, I believe that our creator is going to let me survive. I just feel there is a lot more work (and hopefully, some hunting) still to go.
