What's the name of the show? Safarin Hunter?
I'd say kinda cheesy, blah, blah, blah not so real
Nowhere near to Sports afield, Tracks and few others

I'm sure Steve's a very nice person and probably a class act, and I have certainly watched the show before ( but don't DVR it like other shows I like more).
While, on one hand, I'm happy to see someone try to articulate "our" pro-hunting message and agenda... I believe the message may be lost in the overt and obviously staged delivery ( or as our friend said correctly , "cheesy").
I also don't particularly care for the actual hunting content itself but that is a personal opinion.. Too "game-farmy" and "canned" IMO.
I hate to criticize, just giving an honest opinion...but hey.. I do truly appreciate the intent, thought, and message Steve had dedicated a lot of positive energy and passion towards in defending our rights to hunt and own firearms! Smiler

I actually just Googled him and I must say he has a very interesting and varied background worth checking out.
He has spent 20+ years as a professor at Oklahoma...has a law background... Financial/tax expertise..sports and entertainment...
Cool stuff. Actually gives context now to his approach and intent i never understood.

Same here. Extra cheesy and corny. Trying too hard. Not a fan.

He used to post here several years ago. I always enjoyed his posts and the method he used to communicate the benefits of hunting on his show.

Likewise, I enjoy his shows particularly his commentary segments. I feel the show is a notch below TAA and Under Wild Skies but certainly worth watching. He is clearly a smart and articulate fellow.

I agree Mike. His hunting segments are not up to the same quality of today's best shows, but they are not offensive either, at least in terms of the back slapping / whack em stack em type of show as is so often the case. However, I think Mr. Scott is a positive influence for our position as hunters and offers an intelligent message for those sitting on the fence to sway in our direction.

In 2009 i sat next to him on the plane to JNB. He was a very interesting guy.
Last year i ran into him waiting for our guns in ATL.

I agree with all the comments about the show. Its OK at best.

Steve and I have hunted cape buffalo together a few years ago, I enjoyed it. He's a nice, intelligent guy - who enjoys hunting Africa. I've frankly never watched his show, but I expect it at least portrays a good message?
