| Rusty you haven't got a 416 REM mag case laying around to weigh the water out of do you? I would like to see an independent 3rd parties weighing. Thanks "D" |

RIP has the 375 Weatherby at about 109 or 110 grains. if that was necked up to 416 it would hold slighly more with the bigger diamter neck, about 2.5 grains if the necks were .4" long and that would equal Rusty's Bell 404 cases.

| If you can't convience them then baffle them with bull shit Alf....
You can weigh all the cases in various calibers you want but the simple fact is the 404 case holds more powder, water, or whatever else you want to put in it...and if you use RWS brass then the difference is a good deal more, but even with thick Remington brass there is a substanital difference in favor of the 404...bottom line is its a bigger basket, end of story....
I guess we must agree to disagree, its a no brainer from my point of view and I have no further interrest in discussing it further...... |

| Alf isn't the 8mm mag based on a 375 case? Yep it is blown out but still based on the same base brass. D |
