I am trying to figure out where all or many of the GMAs are in Zambia. I know there is a general map of GMA but it doesn;t show major roads...

I was wondering if anyone has created an image of the GMA's on google earth or would have the Lattitude and Logitude of the GMAs and I will create it.

Thank you Fairgame, I have a copy of that map but it is very general.

I am trying to plot the GMAs on Google Earth so i can see the rivers, roads, towns, terrain....

I will email ZAWA and see if they can give me the coordinates to the GMAs.

Most internal roads will be indistinct and for the most there are no towns or villages in the Kafue GMA's.

If you PM me the GMA's you are interested in then I could probably help you out.

For example the Lunga Luswishi GMA is bordered by the Kafue, Lunga and the Luswishi rivers = 13,000 square kilometres or 2,500,000 acres.

In 10 years I got to see about 20% of it.

On a side note I finished rereading Own Letcher 1909 account of hunting Big Game in North East Rhodesia and I started plotting on google earth his rough path as he hunted. You get a better feel for what part of the country he saw and the miles he logged.
