wave Thanks for the quick help. I had tried to find it

yesterday, but obviously my "hunting" skills are lacking!

Hi Jack

Sorry for taking so long to contact you, but I cannot open the PM you sent me.

Between my hunts, I am busy making some articles for UEG and a few other people, but my time is really limited. I will take pictures of everything this time as soon as the whole lot is finished. If all goes well, I should have someone working full time on this for me within the next 6 months.

The only pictures I had were of a 410 shotgun belt that I made for a lady birdhunter. Most of the other things I made all went to Butch Searcy. I plan on trying to call him later today, and will ask him if he perhaps took any pictures. If he has any, I will forward them directly to you.
Unfortunately, the items I use are more than 10 seasons old, and don't look too presentable anymore.

Sorry again for the delay.

Best wishes.

Brad

BB Brad,
So what do I have to do to get a belt... be your gunbearer?
Cheers,
Russell

Willford

Many thanks for the link.

Russell

Good to hear from you. After your Roan etc., I may end up being your gunbearer. LDE, Bongo & a Mountain Nyala, and you'll have nearly everything that walks in Africa.
Send me an e-mail with you belt size - measured from where the leather starts on the buckle end, up until the hole you use on the other end. Also, if you have a special buckle you would like to use, you can ship it to me.

Jack

Still can't get into your pm. Spoke with Butch, and besides having no stock left, he also has no pictures of what I sent to him. I will get an e-mail with pictures to you as soon as this next lot is done.

I do have a whole lot of Buffalo belts that are also nearly done ( 1 1/2 inch ) to fit Levi's or other similar sized blue jeans. ( 3 layers of Buffalo leather stitched together, about 1/4 inch thick ) Some have a regular buckle fitted, and others are made to take a custom clip-on belt. I will try to get at least one of them finished, and post a few pictures.

ROFL! Big Grin

I'll get an e-mail to you and hope you are doing well, my friend. I am on my way to the good ol' RSA in July of '09 with my son in tow to introduce him to African hunting. Hope to see you there! I'd love for you to join us. Should be a heckuva lot of fun with mine and Lovemore's boys doing the shooting!
