How on earth do you forget to remove a bore sight. Surely one checks your rifle before shooting it.

That is why I said "must have woken them up"!

Must have been asleep not to see the bore sight when aiming or even shooting the rifle. Or blind! Cool

He or she's lucky to be alive or not seriously injured. That's a very hard one to figure out why they didn't see the bore sight.
