I notice that American Hunting Rifles are chambering the 350 Rigby. For those not familiar with the caliber, it is almost exactly a 375 with no belt and necked to .358. Bertram make the brass. Would seem like the perfect companion for those who already have CZ 550s in 416 Rigby. Kind of like a bigger version of the 300 H&H and 375 H&H match up. Mike | ||

Handloader's Digest had a 350 Rigby article a couple of years back. As I understand it, the cartridge was well thought of by African hunters decades ago. With modern bullets it should be outstanding. The 310 Woodleigh, 280 grain Swift A-frame, and 250 grain Barnes-X should all be star performers on game. [This message has been edited by BigIron (edited 05-17-2001).] | |||

I suppose it is the same thing as the 350 Griffen and Howe which was a necked down 375 H&H....I had one of thoes and it was a great gun....That was about 1949...damn!! ------------------ | |||
