Has anybody hunted with Sans Souci Safaris? Looking to do buffalo and sable. I booked through Theo with Skin Africa Consulting. Any info would be great.

One normally inquires before committing oneself and seeing you have already put the cart before the horse it looks like you're going to be taking the ride as it comes. Big Grin

On a positive note though: if you are with Theo of Skin Africa you shouldn't be too concerned.

Constantly sniping peoples post with smartass remarks about everything from you is getting real annoying. You think you're being cute but it just makes you look childish and immature. The poster is just trying to get some honest feedback.

The normal way to go about booking a hunt with an unknown outfitter would be to ask questions first then decide to book or not - just like other normal people do!
If anyone is being the smartass its both you and he.

Go fly a Kite Jerry - If I annoy you with my remarks do yourself a favour and put me on your ignore list!

Thats a beautiful cat too.
OP: Wish you the best hunt in your life.
Too bad all the bs crops up in just about all threads. Damned shame.

I agree with Jerry. Having the ability to say something and saying it is typically sorted out as one matures……..and you're probably right about putting you on the ignore list. That would be a favor for most people.

May fordings never be too deep, And alders not too thick; May rock slides never be too steep And ridges not too slick.
And may your bullets shoot as swell As Fred Bear's arrow's flew; And may your nose work just as well As Jack O'Connor's too.
May winds be never at your tail When stalking down the steep; May bears be never on your trail When packing out your sheep.
May the hundred pounds upon you Not make you break or trip; And may the plane in which you flew Await you at the strip.

I've met Jerry and he's about as nice, friendly, polite, reserved, respectful as it gets. When someone like Jerry calls you out it's about like getting called out by Mr. Rogers……you don't respond you just say I'm sorry and know you're wrong.

fujotupu I think the way I booked is quite normal. like I stated earlier I spoke to several people, and I just wanted some more info. I don't think it hurts to ask for more info along the way.

I think your first statement gave the impression of leap before you look. You would be surprised how many people book without due diligence which can be puzzling to some of us?

Just imagine if you received a series of negative reports here?

However sounds like you are in good hands and should have a great safari.

Fairgame is quite correct and AR is here to provide the newcomer with such information.
Many times have there been questions raised regarding an outfitter or PH, answers which can be invaluable in forming a decisive opinion on whether to book the hunt or not.

The OP has already booked the hunt, or so one is led to believe: (Has anybody hunted with Sans Souci Safaris? - I booked through Theo with Skin Africa Consulting. Any info would be great.)

To request info on the operator at this stage is really pointless as the deal has been sealed and whatever answers are received will have to be swallowed whether they are bitter or sweet.
