Any of you outfitters looking for a camp manager (roaming or otherwise) for the upcoming season? I was recently let go from my previous employer (5 + years) and for lack of a better plan I figured with the economy in the tank in the states I would see if I could sign on for a tour in Africa. Being 33, single and having no dependants, this would probably be my last opportunity to embark on such an adventure.
So basically, here is my sign as I stand on the freeway exits...
Will work day and night for food and lodging. I expect no salary, Tipping is of course not just a city in China, and I would not object to the idea of collecting the occassional specimen for camp meat should such a need arise.
So there it is. If any of you are looking for anything in that realm, please drop me a line.
Thank you.
Brian

Good idea!

I was thinking along these lines after my field research is done at the end of the year!

Good to see that there are opportunities like this. My stepfather is retired, bored, and really needs to get away from his wife. He's always dreamed of hunting africa and is still in good shape, I constantly harangue him about picking up and going over.

Thank you Gentlemen,

I think now I am going to head out for a couple of weeks in the Kiamichi Mountains and get some fresh air.

Martin,
Check your emails. I hope to be hearing from you soon.

Tony,
I may have to take you up on that...

Regards,

Brian
