Back to you Biebs...

I am debating the merits of a .264 WM vs. my trusty .300 WM as I type.

However, I spent time at the stable thanking the Lord for coming - Immanuel, God with us!

Worshiping the Living God is so much better than knowing that He went through this life as we do...

Merry Christmas to you and yours Sir. Thought about going out and setting in a stand this morning but decided against it. Got to go check on the Buffalo herd here in a little while so may drag along the shotgun and pot shoot a few ducks.

Wish you and yours a Happy, Healthy and Prosperous New Year. tu2 beer

I am opening up my boxes of federal 300 grain swift a-frames that Cabelas sent after 4 months and carefully counting 120 rounds over and over again for Burkina in 6 weeks.

Santa forgot the barnes tsx - maybe a late present.

But I am glad for the swift a-frames.

Merry Xmas and a Happy and Prosperous New Year to All

Thanks Biebs,

I just wanted to wish everyone a Merry Christmas morning also!

I had to get up early to get the turkey in the oven in time for a noon meal. The kids (except the LEO daughter who has to work) and grandkids will be here about 9 AM to spend the morning and eat before going to the various in-laws for afternoon Christmas celebrations.

My youngest daughter is giving her Mother-in-law a Christmas ornament engraved with "Grandparent's First Christmas Ornament" as a way of telling her that she's pregnant with their first grandchild.

Anyway, go enjoy the holiday with your families and friends.

It's -30 outside, the livestock have been fed, traps checked and I am letting the wife sleep in. No family for hundreds of miles. No visitors slated. What the hell else ya gonna do?

Have a good one!

I wasn't going to check on AR but I decided to tell everyone that Sandy had under the tree for me a brand-spanking-new H&H Royal double in .303 British with a deer engraved on one sidelock and a wild boar on the other. It has claw mounts with a Zeiss 1-4x scope, 26" barrels and a fine splinter forend. It only weighs 7.9#'s with the scope on and is supposed to be regulated optics on or off. Oh, yeah, it has a set of 28 gauge barrels, too. They are 28" (to make it balance according to Paul, who came down on Sandy's Gulfstream to bring it). They're marked modified and full.

I went out to the five position course Sandy built me for my birthday (on the 15,000 acre estate I got for our anniversary) and hit 19 out of 25 birds. I didn't shoot the rifle but twice, but hit a 5" gong with both barrels at 200 yards, so it shoots okay, too.

Oh, btw, did I tell you that I got some Black Jack and homemade eggnog and started drinking it in front of the fireplace about 9:00 this morning. Big Grin

Y'all have a happy and blessed Christmas. Kidding aside, I actually got some TaylorMade irons and a lots of other good stuff. God is good to me on his birthday and I hope the same for all of you!!!!!

I'm 66 years old, & this may have been one of my best ever Christmas's. Not for what I got, but seeing how excited my grandson was. He got everything he wanted, & then after he thought he'd opened all his gifts, my son gave him two tickets for them to go see the Steelers play Cleveland this Sunday. This kid loves football, so he was so excited all he could do was just up & down. In all my life I've never seen a kid so happy. That's what it's all about.
Merry Christmas to all my friends here, & I hope to see lots of you in Dallas.
