I recieved an ad in the mail today fron the NRA for emergency travel assistance. The rates are very reasonable. It is good any where in the world.

Has anyone used this program?

This seems to be a pretty recent offering from NRA, and I haven't heard anything about it. I use Global Rescue so only gave the NRA offer a quick glance. It would be good to hear from some who have used it before making a purchase on such an important product.

What loss is it you wish to insure against?

My hair, my teeth, my youth, my sex drive, my truck keys, my memory, my viagra, my mind, my respect, my wallet, my old girlfriends, etc.

my general health in a foreign country...

I've used MedJet and Global Rescue in the past. Never had to use it. I'd use the NRA version if it is as good, but I'll wait a few years to see. Life member of the NRA and want to support it, but if the SHTF, I want to get to a good hospital ASAP.

Recently met a doctor who has a company that caters to world travelers that offers a unique service. Sounded like a good deal.
