Greetings from myself and our entire team at safari classics productions ..

As a long time reader of the forums , i finally decided to make a post !!

We are so grateful for the positive feedback on our latest film , Boddington on Elephant.

my partners and I are currently assembling the components for Craig and Ivans seminars at DSC and SCI , they will be great seminars , including some excellent footage and with the combined knowledge of Craig and Ivan , i think it will be a very worthwhile use of time for anyone interested in elephants.

Good hunting people ,
dave

Dave-
Welcome aboard. We met at JP's camp in Mozambique in 2006. I believe you had just shot a most toothsome croc.
Great job on the ele video, keep up the good work.

Your videos have been fantastic, but the last 30 minutes of my disk one of Boddington on Elephant was damaged (kept freezing up). Disc two looks good although I haven't watched it all the way through yet. I called Safari Press and they are sending me another one no questions asked. They didn't even require me to return the one I have. I thought you might want to know and welcome to this magnificent forum.

Dave,

My copy of Boddington on Elephant is in the mail. I can't wait to see it; I'm sure it is up to your usual high standards.

Dave, glad to see you on the forum! I've always enjoyed your film work, both technically, and the content of the films as well. Unlike most films that are simply rackum, and stackum, while your films are more the whole safari experience. I like the time taken to talk the strategy of the hunt, as well as facts about the rifles used, and the fireside discussions, all bring back memories to anyone who has experienced a Safari, and is valuable information for those about to go on their first safari! Good show old chap!

.......................Again welcome here sir! beer

I got to hear Craig and Ivan at a Mzuri Safari Club event in San Francisco at the beginning of the year. What a presentation! It was a terrific experience. The knowledge and delivery was second to none, but the photography alone was completely worth attending.

If their upcoming presentations are even half as good as the talk they gave in January you won't be disappointed.

Dave,

Thanks for the copy of Boddington on Elephant. It is excellent! I watched part of it again this PM and learned some very interesting things I had never heard of before. Nice work! I also did not thank you for the copy of Boddington on Buffalo 2. I have that one already but this will make a nice X-mas present for a friend.

Thanks again!

Mark

I ordered this video along with a couple of other items (books and vids)via Craig Boddington website. As some are to be didecaced by Craig B, the delivering is belated. I hope to get the whole thing for Christmas.

Am I the only one that seen the video that wonders where Jeff's sleves are? Were they ripped off by a charging elephant in some deleted segment?

Gret DVD though, despite the lost sleeves.

Jeff has always hunted wearing shirts with the sleeves cut out! This was quite common in Botswana, and many other places in Africa, years ago, and Jeff has been hunting profesionally since about 1979, is an American, and worked under Gordon Cundill for several yrs. I think his sleeves being cut out of his shirt has nothing to do with his hunting ability! How on Earth does this detract from the video? bewildered

Gentlemen
Thanks for the warm welcome to AR. I have always enjoyed the debates, information, and personalities found here ! Much like you, our entire team is dedicated to the hunting experience that only Africa can provide. Our goal on both of our our TV series, as well as our Boddington DVD lineup is to deliver well produced,as it happens, informational ,and entertaining programming dedicated to Safari and those of us who feel her call in our lives. We have always appreciated the positive feedback we see here, and look forward to a great 2009 season which promises to be both travel extensive, yet exciting.
I hope any of you attending the shows this year will put the Boddington and Carter seminar on your schedule. I promise,it will be the best seminar on this years tour!
All the best
Dave

Gayne,

We were faced with a BIG dilemma when filming....Go sleeveless, or go crotchless... shocker

We chose sleeveless as we didn't want to make those poor eles self conscious - you know, trunk inferority complex...we might not have gotten any of them to charge...(oh boy, bet I'm gonna catch heck now)
