A week away and I will be bound for the Selous to chase buf, hippo, sable, & Simba
Everything is sorted and packed into need daily, occasional, possibly, and hope not...
Am I excited beyond words... I sleep, drink, and think about this hunt...
Still walking every morning 3 miles with a 10 pound dumbbell in hand... I will be able to hang on to the double with no problems...
Oh yea, have to remember to bring my wife! thumb

Mike

Funny!

Actually, Mike and I did talk about being in Pierr'e's camp at the same time, but when I need to commit to Tanzania, I thought I had a murder case that would be tried on the subject dates. Later... well, HHK offered me a good deal and when the case was continued, I committed to Zim and then on to Infinito in RSA.

Mike, you and the lady have a great time!

JudgeG ... just counting time 'til I am again finding balm in Gilead chilled out somewhere in the Selous.

Have fun buddy. Ernest will be behind you shortly and I will follow him in a few days. Do you think Africa can handle all three of us at the same time? Big Grin

Good luck, I will be looking forward to seeing a picture of Simba. Are you using a double for him too?? Maybe one like that beautiful piece of hardware you brought to my booth in Denver.

Rhyme of the Sheep Hunter
May fordings never be too deep, And alders not too thick; May rock slides never be too steep And ridges not too slick.
And may your bullets shoot as swell As Fred Bear's arrow's flew; And may your nose work just as well As Jack O'Connor's too.
May winds be never at your tail When stalking down the steep; May bears be never on your trail When packing out your sheep.
May the hundred pounds upon you Not make you break or trip; And may the plane in which you flew Await you at the strip.

Mike - Best of luck to you and Cherie. Remember the poor waifs living vicariously through and take LOTS of photos. Remember, however, my wife still holds onto the illusion that there are no snakes!!!

Just a bit of info, Mike and wife are 24 hours into the trip at this time.

Their flight out of NY JFK was to push back from the gate last evening

at 5:45 PM. Here's hoping that all is going well and that they're settled
in for the wonderful adventure. wave thumb clap
