I just sent Ray Atkinson a buncha money for the my trip to RSA and Zim with JudgeG in May. JudgeG has posted his excitement about the trip, and has even mentioned me (1115) in his post. He has conned me into being his "camera man" while he and Pierr'e sneak up (?) on an elephant and shoot it. Notice I did not say "kill it". I will believe that when I see it. I have informed JudgeG that if things don't go well when he pulls the trigger, he will find his video equipment where he saw me standing last. Based on what I have learned here, this is my packing list:

Tuff Pak

Rolling Duffel

Hacksaw, to be used in case I have to convert my rifle to a take down if they won't let me carry it in the Tuff Pak.

Plastic Bags, to be used to bring JudgeG home in if he pisses the elephant off.

Extra Underwear, I will need this if JudgeG pisses the elephant off.

In addition to the above, I will take most of the items in the current Cabela's catalogue and will try to take Terry Carr in case I overlooked anything.

We leave on May 26. I think I am ready, but am always open to suggestions.

What the heck does that mean? I've been using Ray for some time and have sent him enough money to buy a small country. All the funds got exactly where I designated them to go. He's even refunded/redirected monies when a hunt plan was changed. I surely hope you weren't talking about my mustacheoed and white-haired brother... 'cause if you were... I take offense...

Can't wait, buddy. We're going to have some fun! You didn't mention that I'm going to be videoing your first buffalo. I, however, will stand firm at the charge... firmly as one can stand 20 feet up a tree!

If you are cool with your outfitter and have had good experiences in the past that's great.
