Typical! Scaremongering without putting out all the facts! Sure, lion population and diversity is down, but what about humans taking over their habitat? I bet you more lions are killed by natives in a year than killed by licensed hunters in 10 years! | |||

Yes - Guesstimating a conservative scale of 100:1 Locals, in particular those who have livestock, consider them as vermin and are "simply" exterminated - THAT is what it is all about. We also have the other group that poaches Lions for their body parts to satisfy the demands of local "wagangas" and our friends in the East but trophy hunters killing the odd one are supposedly responsible for the "Leo-cide" - go figure how the mind works with some people! | |||
