I think I may know the answer already but is it even possible for Safari companies to get insurance against the type of destruction that just occurred in Northern Mozambique? STAY IN THE FIGHT!

Wouldn’t this be classified as war? Which is uninsurable??

It’s my understanding you can get insurance coverage for pretty much anything… but at an exceedingly high cost. Usual private insurance excludes war and “acts of god”. If the insurance premium is almost as expensive as replacement cost, it just doesn’t make sense to buy it.

Insurance coverage litigation is what I do. Coverage for terrorism and kidnapping is available but I can only recall one case involving it in my 38 years of practice. I don't think I'd forget one of those. Most people don't buy it and if they do, they tend to paint a target on their employees in certain regions. The secret gets out.

Personally, I'd spend my money on weapons and ammunition.

I suspect it is not obtainable without a terrorism exclusion that would defeat the purpose. Mike Wilderness is my cathedral, and hunting is my prayer.
