My first trip to Africa was rewarded with a fantastic hunt in Zimbabwe with Roger Whittall Safaris. Cape Buffalo was the primary objective and a wonderful 40inch bull with great drops. Butch Coaton was my PH and we hunted antelope, kudu, bush buck, bush pig, wildebeest and zebra. The bush buck may score in top 25 record. Ringi, the lead tracker, may not weigh 150 pounds but demonstrated amazing strength carrying the pig on his shoulders for a kilometer that weighed as much as he did. The camp near Humani was at a turn in the river and provide great views and wildlife watching for elephant, kudu, water buck and many others. Very comfortable and food was prepared wildgame meat and delicious. The hunt area had not seen much hunting over the past 4 years and we were blessed with great success. I will return again. Special thanks to my hunting partners who made this a lifetime experience. Guy and Hannah Whittall who were gracious hosts in Harare and in camp. And to Butch and his two daughter.

This report is useless without pictures! On a serious note, congrats on what sounds like a great safari. Please post a hunting report. I have walked in the foot prints of the elephant, listened to lion roar and met the buffalo on his turf. I shall never be the same.
