Are shooting sticks a newer item on safari?
If you are speaking of me, you're mistaken. Like the old guy on the TV series used to say, "No brag. Just fact." Hell, I thought anyone going after DG can shoot to those quals. Maybe I'm the one who is mistaken.

Not particularly. In fact I thought the above was a good indication of a sensible and practical approach to field shooting.
