In the same issue of Guns and Ammo that Dakota45056 quoted in the .577 post, Boddington talks about internet "chatrooms" and the VERY first one he mentions is Accurate Reloading.

Kinda cool to see "our" place on his list.

Craig Boddington has contributed to this forum. His contributions have been honest and forthright and I for one appreciated and now miss them.

But I understand very well why his contributions have dwindled.

He took too many cheap shots from too many anonymous artists of the genre - and he, like all of us, has too short a life to live to spend his time dealing with such bullshit.

IMHO, it was gracious (and typically so) of him to cite this forum as a worthy hunting website.

It shows even to the Philistines that he possesses sense of fairness and equity that is all too often missing here (and elsewhere) these days.

Well worth repeating.

Craig is a great guy and a good hunter, he has gotten lucky enough to get paid for his passion something most of us dream about. But jealousy rears its ugly head from behind a keyboard.

I'll say that I've met many a jerk in writing circles but Craig's not one of them. He's always been gracious and polite with me.

Craig is both a gentleman and a scholar. I met him several years ago through SCI. He has always been gracious and was generaly fun to be around. He was alwys ready to talk huning at anytime if some would be listening.Brittani hung out with us and the group of phs she likes mostly the bunch she hunted in australia and new zeajland and australia. We were all pretty lit and full of opinions but craig decided to answer everyones questions as best he could. There were a large group of signifigant others who had been hold thheir half hostage. When we got all tallke and drank ou at the end of the night. I heard many wives not only give permision to spouse to go on whatever trip was being planned but almost all asked to accompany their blessing but havle to a third wanted to come as well.Craig is knowledgable and most willing to share that knowledge. Unfortunatelly he and others do not hang out here like the used to. Why take grief from a bunch of people who wont even stand up and give their real names. It is a shame, there has been someother remarkable people who no longer post here as well for obvious reasons. A loss of these people to our inernet community isn a loss to everyone

Mike,

I agree whole heartedly. Why would Craig want to come on here and get kicked in the teeth.
