With all the propaganda being spewed out through the press, I have to wonder of we have heard the last of the issues involving foreign hunters. Do you think the government will end up cancelling hunts?
If you plan on hunting in the area(s) like Antionette that are still closed by the government I would make other plans. All other areas should be a go. Make sure you see the letter from the Director General prior to going afield if you are hunting DG.

This whole lion thing is another knee-jerk hysteria that will prove to be ephemeral, just like the attention span of the children that are behind it.
In a few months, few people will remember Cecil or this whole silly incident and things should be back to normal. But for a September hunt, there still may be some lasting effects from this nonsense. For your case, hopefully some other knee-jerk event will erupt in the news headlines by September, taking the attention off this one.

I wonder if all these people or person behind the anti hunting media thing ever wondered around AR and took a personal disliking to us here.It seems that it all is coming out of jealousy and hatred.

I have wondered the same thing. But I will be there in September and expecting things to be business as usual. I would be more worried about next year for a host of reasons including our own USFW. This reminds me of going to Zim back in the early 2000's with the land grabs going on everywhere. If there wasn't a risk, it just wouldn't feel the same :-)

The reputable outfitters and PHs are unbelievably switched on regarding what will and won't work in a disorderly country. I would not hesitate to follow their lead. They know how to "make a plan".
