Sunday we are leaving on our yearly family hunt.
At the moment I'm suffering from the same disease as most hunters waiting for D-day. Everything is done, the rusks, cookies and jams are packed. I am delaying the packing just to get the time to pass.

If all goes well and my permit is aproved in time, mr spots might be on the menu too.

Jaco, you've been threatening to tell us about your new 416 Rigby for some time now. So where is it and where are the photos?

Wink,
I am burning with desire to see what is hapening. I have seen the action in the white, it is with my gunsmith friend, Frikkie. I saw the billet before it was send in to be profiled and chambered. Frikkie told me it was almost finished, we have to send it away to have it done. After that is done the barrel will go to the SABS, I think, to be proofed. The same people will do the basic inletting on the stock. I haven't seen the stock yet. Frikkie said it is a beautiful piece of Turkish Wallnutt.

The moment I can take the first pictures I will publish it. NO, I will let you be the first AR member to see them, I'll forward it to you before posting it.

BTW Congratulations on France's 2 wins. It was a hard blow for us, don't want to say more. CRYBABY

Yes Jaco, with France being considered a bunch of wimps by most of the world it must be upsetting to have them beat your national rugby team, and they do it on a regular basis. As for the World Cup, tomorrow is of course the big day. If France manages to beat Brasil (and I'm not taking any bets on this match) then the French will go wild. It probably won't even matter if they lose whatever following match there is, beating this Brasil team puts you at the top.
