ChristopheMorioThe hunting season starts the 1st of July in TANZANIA
Hi all,
I am leaving for Tanzania in a few days, heading to Maasailand for the first safari of the season, one of my favorite place !!! looking for the endemic species of this part of Africa such a lesser kudu, gerenuk, coke hartebeest ect...and then I will reach the Selous Game Reserve for big game hunting.. I will be back by the end of October...
Here is the link of my last video clip:

My very long ago ancestors needed and loved to eat meat.
Today I still hunt! 20 June 2014, 16:20

ChristopheMorioThank you all for your nice words.
Saeed, where in Selous are you going to hunt? Maybe I can cross the Luwegu river to shake you hand !!!
I think we are in LU5, Alan Vincent's place.

Christophe,
Sorry to hear 5that.
I was looking forward to our meeting.
I love being in Africa, regardless of where.
But, LU5 is a fascinating place. It has many contrasting areas which remind me of several places in Zimbabwe.
Best of luck my friend.

I am sure that's the case. The game lined the banks of the Njenje when we were there, and the Mbarangandu, too. More, smaller blocks is not a bad thing, not in game-rich country like the southern Selous.
The good old days are now!

That should be good I suspect?
I'm hunting the Lake Rukwa Game Reserve in August for a 3 week / full bag safari. I go back in February 2015 for a 2 week safari in Natron to hunt the mountain buffalo, leopard and some of the Masai land species I don't have yet.
