Picking up on the SCI and the DSC shows threads, us Europeans have Jagd & Hund to look forward to from 29 January to 3 February.

Europe's biggest hunting / outdoor fair, they saw 67.464 visitors from 40 countries last year and are looking to break that this year.

Ticket price on the door is EUR 18/-

Looking forward to going again!

I will be there at least 3 days. Maybe more.

Could we arrange an AR meeting?

Dennis, Have you got a stand or just 'visiting' ?

I should be there 2 days - Fri and Sat.

How many AR members plan to visit Dortmund?

I might go Saturday. My all wheel drive go fast car is sold, I drop it off tomorrow. So I'll have to drive the wife's van and weather will have to be perfekt. Last year on Friday we had 20cm of snow between Kaiserslautern and Dortmund.

Was tough going but I walked in at the opener.

I called Dennis when I got in but got distracted and forgot about it until I was already near Frankfurt later that night.

This is my last German hunt show for a while, we are moving to the USA in a couple months.

It is too bloody far to take the train and come home that night. I also don't think the trains run when I need them to for me to get there and have more than 2 hours of show time.

I am good with Saturday morning for Brekkie if someone wants to do that.

Charlie and Dennis I'll send you my whatsap.

Gentleman, Im there at an (amo)both of an good friend, and I invite you "all" for coke, coffee and great "german bred and beef".

Great show!

I took a few friends and we went on Saturday. My wife and kids were going to go but I am glad they didn't crowds were tough.

I spent most of my time in hall 7 talking to outfitters. Was surprised by how much more expensive mountain goats were priced at the convention. Most guys were $14,500-17,500.

Dall sheep were consistant $22,500 with last year.

South Africa was a bargain.

Namibia got a little more expensive.

Australia and New Zealand might have dropped a bit.

Looked for a game cart, didn't see what I wanted. Ate a lot of interesting salamis.

Drank a few too many beers and saw some old friends.

Nice time!
