I have a question for Roger QSL who is heading this up:



Do you propose to limit this to hunting with a 45-70 rifle, or to 45-70 ballistics?



For example, if someone took another caliber that was pushing 500 grain lead bullets at 1500 fps, would that satisfy the proposed caliber limitation, or does the barrel need to say "45-70" on it? Maybe someone would want to take his .458 Lott with a few rounds loaded down....

Not only would I hunt Buff with my lever,but with gods help will some day. I would take my 50-110 lever,I could load woodlieghs,Kodiak 500 grain or HC 525 grains at 2200fps and have to see what Martin's bullets will do. Kev
