It is again time for me and my dad to head for Africa, this time it is 21 Days in Massailand with Luke Samaras. This hunt owes alot to AR, I was serching for a lion hunt last year, a member suggested Wendell and he had very good dates available in Luke's area, we booked it and now I am writting this from Dubai airport while waiting for our connecting flight to Dar-es-salam. This is our first trip through Wendell and he is a joy to deal with and lets see if we find things on ground as agreed. I will give a full account of hunt on return.

I think you made a good choice Ahmed. That has always sounded like a great hunt. A friend of mine and his dad went two years ago and killed some monster buffalo.

Rhyme of the Sheep Hunter
May fordings never be too deep, And alders not too thick; May rock slides never be too steep And ridges not too slick.
And may your bullets shoot as swell As Fred Bear's arrow's flew; And may your nose work just as well As Jack O'Connor's too.
May winds be never at your tail When stalking down the steep; May bears be never on your trail When packing out your sheep.
May the hundred pounds upon you Not make you break or trip; And may the plane in which you flew Await you at the strip.

Are you hunting with Franco and/or Paddy?

Dear all, thank you for your kind wishes.

I am back from hunt and at the moment writing this from Arusha Hotel, Tanzania. What a great hunt we had! My father shot a great lion and we ended up with 3 above 40†hard boss Buffalos and some great EA plains game trophies. This was our fifth African safari and to say the least, we found a hunting paradise, much beyond our expectations. Thanks Wendell for providing us with this opportunity. I will post a detail hunt report and pics on return to home.
