It was debated before, 1 week old tho - now official:

From Norma

"Norma African PH

Norma's new range of large game cartridges, African PH, has been received with great interest by hunters all over the world. The cartridges are loaded with Australian Woodleigh bullets. To start with, 9 different calibers are introduced with Soft Nose and Full Metal Jacket respectively, in the following weights:

375 H&H - 22,7 g / 350 gr

404 Jeffery - 29,2 g / 450 gr

416 Rigby - 29,2 g / 450 gr

416 Rem Mag - 29,2 g / 450 gr

450 Rigby - 35,6 g / 550 gr

458 Lott - 32,4 g / 500 gr

470 NE - 32,4 g / 500 gr

500 NE - 37,0 g / 570 gr

505 Gibbs - 39,0 g / 600 gr"

Any clue on balistics & prices?

Good ammo. Not all my choice of ideal bullet weight but some trial ammo was issued for the last PH exams. Worked as advertised!

That's great they're finally offering some classic DG cartridges, but what's with the heavy bullets?

Norma's rep at SCI said they went with the heavy bullets and slowed velocity down to nitro express levels for better penetration and terminal effect, per the advice of Kevin Robertson (The Perfect Shot).

So I guess we will all have to run out and get rebarrelled with faster twists?
