I'm told that Boddington has a complete package deal to be had for Africa with Tickets, accommodation, PH, Permits etc..

Has anyone see it?

I looked on his web site, but there no mention of it there.

Does it include getting shot by his daughter and mauled by a leopard his father in law wounded?

Now now, be nice.

These extras are only available to those buying his used, sweaty shirts! clap

Seriously though, why can't he offer complete hunts?

He certainly has the experience, and should know who to send his clients too.

I just got a reply from Boddington's Website contact, and he says they do not have any package deals, so what I heard must be a false alarm.

You will get fantastic stories at the campfire, get all your animals shot by a self centered asshole, and never get home as your wallet and air tickets would be stolen!

And live for ever among the baboons! rotflmo

Nothing tough about it all.

Just stating facts.

Fact: Boddington has been hunting all over the world, I like his writings, and I am sure it would be an enjoyable eaveing sitting with him by the campfire.

Fact: Mark Sullivan has proven beyond any doubts, in his shows and his writings, that he thinks very lowly of other professional hunters, and his clients.

He is the last person I would wish to share a hunting camp with.

He would be totally worthless as a "professional"hunter, as he will have no job on my hunt.

The buffalo I shoot just drop dead, I do not give them a choice of how to die clap

Fact: Martin has been proven right here, and in correspondence I have, that he cannot be trusted.

So if any of you think being real, honest and truthful is tough, then we are bloody tough! clap

MARK AND CLIENTS
Sorry, Sir.
I had read (and lissen) to him the totaly opperside.
He speaks very respectfull of his "old clients".

And you can search long:
You woudn`t find an unhappy former client of him.

MARK
I had meet him twice and he was an great gentleman to all and we had an great time (no hunt in Afrika, I "guided" him here in Germany).

C. BODDIGTON
Yes, he make some "marketing errows" and maybe some in personal life.
But..., gentleman..., we all do this.
I would share imideatly an camp with him and book a hunt about him (then I like the offer).
Also: Craig had done mutch for hunting.

PH FIGHTS
I never saw and speak to an PH..., after some times it allways goes: PH xxx has no idea, PH XXX cant juged an buffalo and so one. Im the best, "I have killed 5 lions in one hour" with my pure hands and so on...
Theire let no "good hair" on each other.

What the f... is an PH?
The most (not all of course, I know also some exeptions) think they have the intelligence, the academic study like an medical doctor or an lawer.
Some think they are "rockstars".
I had done sucsessfully an MBA / PhD and an "PH Academy" and I can tell you, there is an differnt between an 10 year learning in an University or a two weeks scholl (witch was great also, no question).

That is the reason why I hunt normaly "without an PH", so I dont have their "ego problems" or the "tipping problems" (what I have as an german in genereal not, thanks good, the other thread - about tipping - goes in an record about that sh...)

You can hunt in West- and Centralafrika (normaly all countrys) "alone".

And:
In other parts of Afrika, on private farmland, also.
You pay the farmer, pay for the days to stay and give them the meet and a fee for the shoot animals.

And II:
I had this "PH qualifination, academy and exam" also. I give "nothing about it", but it was some great days.
Ouer hunting education is normaly one year, so - I think - I know what I do.

I think they’ve had those hunts as auction items at the shows before, but not something Boddington himself offered.

Went on that KS deer hunt myself last year and had a wonderful time. Price is actually right in the middle of outfitted KS deer hunts.

It's illegal in Southern Africa.

Even if you have passed the test you are not a qualified PH unless you are citizen of that country or a permanent resident.

On Jamie Traut's website he is advertising a safari with Craig Boddington. I have no details.

The hunt with COL Boddington was auctioned off at the SCI convention in January. It’ a 10 day Leopard hunt with Craig tagging along with the bidder and Jamie as PH..

Can someone please explain to me what is behind all this "tag along" hunts??

Isn't everyone tagging along getting paid?

Wouldn't this make the hunt more expensive?

I would imagine the hunt gets filmed so everyone eventually gets paid regardless of what the client pays.
