Do the Lions get slaughtered?
http://news.yahoo.com/u-protec...nting-181529531.html

I always wondered if the 6,000 captive bred lions are part of the estimated 20,000? Either way they represent at least 23% and up to 30% of All Lions....they have one means of financial value

Could the unintended slaughter of 6,000 lions (or a great percentage of them) be the end result of the U.S. Fish & Wildlife's stupidity?
Eradicate the value of 85% of the market and what happens to them all?
Who can afford to now feed them?
Killed for their bones And skins to the Asian market?

Forget USF&W.

How about all our friends who are screaming BAN CANNED LION HUNTING!

Completely forgetting that a lot of hunting in South Africa falls under exactly t5he same banner as far as the bloody antis are concerned!

It won't be long before we see them putting all their efforts into banning that one too!

All the antis want it COMPLETE BAN!

This is just the start.

there is an organization called CITES if some have forgotten.

It is supposed to protect endangered species.

USF&W and European beaurocrats think that is irrelevant apparently!

It is not only the Asian market.
Last week 2 captive lions were poisoned and mutilated for muti purposes somewhere in NorthWest Province I think.

I have been told the farmers are shooting lions on sight in Botswana .. lots of dead cattle from drought so I suspect lions feeding on dead cows and of course the citizens can then claim compensation from govt for their loss as they will blame it on the lions. What a world we live in.
