Flying KLM to Tanz in Aug. Do I need to call them about Firearms? How was the service?

I fly with them every year and this year I will be traveling from Filer, Id. to Minn. St. Paul, to Amsterdam to Dar es Salaam as usual Aug 1...Good service for todays airlines, they are owned or in partnerships with Northwest Air....

Your travel agent should have taken care of the firearms issue, but yes they must be notified and you must have a Yellow Fever shot and a visa prior to leaving the USA, to get into Tanzania...

Yes and I find it irritating that when you mention you will be hunting the NW/KLM agent doesn't say anything about it unless you ask. Then they supposedly mark it "somewhere" in your reservation. Anyway, it is necessary.
