If you want to travel to Ft Worth Tim Love's - Lonesome Dove Bistro is excellent. Went there last year.

Brazalian Steak House, just remember they bring the bacon wraped filets last!

Never been to Rafains.Texas de Brazil is very good. They are probably not 4 miles apart as the crow fly's. Right off the Dallas North Tollway. Rafains is on the Tollway up near addison. Texas de Brazil is off the Tollway about a mile west on Beltline in Addison. Both are about 20 min north of DT Dallas.

Wife made reservations for I think it is "560" a Wolfgang Puck adventure attached to the hotel... both nights for us... Thurs/Fri.

We ate there last year and loved the rotation and the food.

Thanks for that list. Just to add another dimension to the list - and another place.

IF you want to have dinner and observe some other very beautiful "people" Smileror scenery strolling by in Dallas, which is fun on its own, and great food to boot you should try

Javiers Mexican - as stated above

Cafe Pacific - one of my favorites and up in Highland

Mansion on Turtle Creek - as stated above

I recommend these when your wife is with you as well - just dont look so long Smiler.

Go for the food of course. Just sayin' Wink

You other guys, you know who you are, wont have time for this. You will be back in the hotel watching Boddington video's and transferring money to your outfitters account for your next trip !

Took my wife out last night to celebrate the New Years. We went to Cadot. I highly recommend this restaurant for a place to take your wife. I am sort of a old country boy (meat and potatoes) but this place is really special. EVERYTHING is special (French onion soup, Calamari, All entries, and deserts ($$$) but a bit less than most what I would refer to as 5 star restaurants. A 20 minute ride up the Dallas North Tollway and then back east a few miles off Frankfort.

And by the way a couple of doors down from Cafe Pacific is the Beretta store and they have some nice shotguns to look at.

Yes indeed. Yet another good reason to go there. Maybe I'll get up there while it is still open this time.
