Did anyone see the "Hunters and Hunted Special" on National Geo last night. Great close up of several very nice bulls and reenactment of the charge on Niki Acheson in '04 (with interviews with her and Keith) and another charge of a plains game hunter who was killed in the process of trying to shoot a lesser kudu. It seems however that there can never be any video about Cape Buffalo without someone misquoting Ruark's passage from "Horn of the Hunter". Last night it was Keith Accheson, recently it was Boddington on another show. Ruark did not say "He looks at you like you owe him money" or "They look at you like you own them money". What did Ruark actually say in the three sentence passage from the book? No cheating by going back and looking now.....
