I have a Brown Precision on a 700 ADL action.

With a 24" barrel, 1.5x5 Leupold in Talley mounts, 2 Uncle Mike utility slings made into a quasi military sling and 3 rounds in the magazine = 7.5#. It's comfortable to carry, shoot and it's accurate.
