One of AR members, "Mufasa" has been in Tanzania for almost a month now. He sent me a few photos and I just had to post this one. Here's a beautiful 48" buff he took in Maswa.

I sure hope he'll share some higher resolution photos with us when he returns.

Edit: After posting, I noticed Mufasa's bull is the spitting image of the buff on the left in the painting at the top of this forum.

No lion as of a few days ago. He said there was so much plains game around neither the lions nor leopards were interested in man-made kills. Mufasa is moving to Ugalla and maybe he'll have better luck on the cats there.

I'm not big on size of trophies - rather want age and worn look. But THAT'S a buffalo with really worthy size! Big Grin clap dancing

In good hunting.

So my M70 is 46 inches long. That makes this guy 45-47? That's one helluva bull shocker

Wow, fantastic bull... really nice rifle! I'm with Maxbear, more about the rifle, please.
