Namibia is, as a rule, much faster on shipping than RSA. You should have had your things with in a few months after the conclusion of your hunt, especially since no taxidermy work was done.

I e-mailed him at the end of June, by this time it had been nine months, and he said something along the lines of "Sorry, I've been busy but will get them to you mid-august". When mid-august came and went I e-mailed him again. This time his reply was "give me 2 to 3 weeks". Its been 2 weeks and still no trophies. This was our first trip, but I would think one year should be plenty of time to send them to us.

Mark, He & the outfitter are obligated to get your trophies to the shipper (assuming you paid for that service). If he/they have not fulfilled that obligation in a year's time, there is either a problem with the trophies themselves, the paperwork, or the outfit. Make everyone involved (PH, outfitter, and booking agent, if you used one) that you expect your stuff to be shipped within say, 30 days, or you will have to take action (posting their name here, contacting Namibia's PH association, whatever government ministry oversees safari operations, SCI, and a lawyer). It's entirely up to you how far you are willing to take this, but you are the aggrieved/injured party, not them. George

He is considerably busier now than in '02, but I would still expect better service. I'm hoping that mine won't be as troublesome as yours appear to be. Good luck Mark. Stay on the phone and email and I'm sure you'll get some satisfaction.
