Good hearing from you. We will arrive Reno on Monday and spend a couple of days skiing around Tahoe and just checking out the area. We have convention passes for Fri/Sat and hope to see you there for some story swapping. Anybody else going? Bob

You don't know me but I'm going. got my pass for all 4 days, will be arriving in Reno on Tuesday. This will be my 5th convention. Love it! The first two were in Vegas, I heard rumers that SCI was planning on going back to Vegas in 2006. I hope not, I like it better in Reno. I look forward to seeing some friends there. To all going, have a great time!!!!

I'm planning on going, but it tends to conflict with the SHOT show in Vegas. I *have* to go the SHOT show, but I have to check the dates for SCI and see if I can swing down to Reno before or after the SHOW, or during but at the beginning or end. I *SWORE* last year that this year I would go. Since I went to Namibia in April, I'm twice as anxious. I'd love to drum up some business with the safari operators and providers, but I'd also love to meet some of you and share stories and laughs. Maybe I'll see y'all there.

The 2006 dates are January 18-21. Very early for SCI. In fact, Dallas Safari Club's function isn't until Jan. 26-29, AFTER SCI

SCI 2007 is Jan. 24-27.

BOTH 2006 and 2007 are still at Reno.

I'm looking at the add in the newest copy of the SCI magazine, the SCI Reno show is Jan 26th to the 29th 2005.



I hope your right about the show staying in Reno for years after, I called SCI in tucson and gave them my two cents..

I think maybe others did the same, most people I talked with liked it better in Reno..

Yeah, There was a queestionaire given to the exhibitors listing about 8 cities. Guess Reno won. I have to ask each year as to when the next 3 convnetions are scheduled because we have to schedule our safaris around them and for Mt. Nyala, that is our busiest time. Sure liked it the year the convnetion was in late March. I go out on Monday Jan. 24th to see that everything arrived okay and start rigging up the booth (#928).
