My buddy just booked 2 Elephant hunts with him for Sept this year.
Are NG34
He was told they have shot this year an 80, 75, and 60
Last year they shot a 100, 80, 80, and 3 between 60-70
Dora anyone know the skinny on this hunt?

I don't know the skinny on that hunt, but have hunted with Madubula in the past. John and Laurie Abraham run a good outfit, good camps, good PH's, really big concessions.

I would have no doubt about what John has told your buddy is true.

NG 34 is the Sankuyo Concession , prev a jointly owned concession with Coenrad Vermaak and Johan Calitz , it is a community area and has a good record for trophy bulls . Madubula / John is a Outfitter of the year reciepient and his PH's win PH of the year often with PHASA.
With the floods being early this year there should be good elephant in the area , normaly late season hunts in the eastern blocks are not as good as early season but the floods will make this different.
John is a first class hunter/outfitter and his operation is top notch.

Hunted there a few years back,I think 09 did not see lots and lots of elephant, Shot the biggest one and track we had seen 40's. sharing a camp with a guy from Spain, he shot on the last day a single tusk 50. Calitz camp was nice.
