Two big tuskers in two years! Congratulations Fred!

This is the first full body shot I have had of the elephant I shot this past April. Thanks for posting the picture Nick.

Bwanamrm, I wish, this is the same bull, just a full body shot.

It was a huge bull and quite a thrill to step out and take it with my H&H .500/.465 Dominion. Particularly after the first Dominion blowing up and to see it finally all come together.

The final weight on the tusks was 60 X 59, each over 6ft long and very symetrical. They are going to look good on the bronze bases I am having made.If only they had been "Botswana thick" we would have had a major trophy, but that's hunting and I'm not complaining.

Steve, I'm still trying to squash that bug of yours.

Thanks for the comments.

Heck, Fred, thought you'd found your calling... professional ivory hunter!

Great bull! And after the trouble you had with your previous double, it'sgreat to see that you have put this one to such good use. Congrats!

Hunted with Chris Collins of Game Safaris. The original post earlier under "The Lady and the Bull" showed the tusks after they were removed along with 1960 Land Cruiser 2F.

Ok, I remember that report. That was a neat "retro" type hunt with the classic Cruiser and your 2nd Dominion grade. So this is the same bull it sounds like.

What's next?
