Not sure how readily available this is in Zim, but if you can get your PH or outfitter to obtain a copy for you it is well worth it. Written by Michael Bromwich, it represents an effort to capture the history of the Department of National Parks and Wildlife Management. It is composed of many stories and remembrances by people that served in the Department. An amazing compilation of the history of the Department (over 600 pages) that is very readable since the stories are told almost in vignettes. No question about it, perhaps with the possible exception of the Kenya game department many years ago, National Parks in Zim really was an amazing conservation and research organization. Mike

It is a truly outstanding book. You won't find it in any of the book shops, but it can be ordered directly from Mike Bromwich at mikebromwich1@gmail.com I think for $75. Highly recommended.

You will enjoy the book Jay. Great that Bromwich took the time to preserve a history that might otherwise have been lost. Mike
