Several members expressed an interest in having an AR gathering for the AHG All African hunting show to be held in Atlanta on January 15 & 16. Shona & myself have been discussing potential locations for the gathering and have decided on Gordon Biersch, a brew pub restaraunt, for its convienence to the Grand Hyatt. We would like to get some feedback from those that would like to attend as to which date/time would be best.
I will make the reservation based on the majority.

If you don't plan on attending the show, please don't respond to this poll!!

Thank you and Happy Holidays!!

Adam

I have walked in the foot prints of the elephant, listened to lion roar and met the buffalo on his turf. I shall never be the same.

Hi guys
Definitely looking forward seeing all of you there and putting some faces to the names.

It's not going to be an African campfire but I'm sure there will be some interesting stories coming up.

We had a great time last night at Gordon Biersch.
Some people might have had a little bit too much of the good beer.

Just wanted to thank Adam for organizing a great venue for us and it was great meeting some of the guys here.

The show was good in that you could have time to talk to folks without the pressure of several folks waiting in line to speak to the vendors. I finally got to meet some Georgia AR guys who don't go to Dallas. Hopefully we'll do some deer hunting!

I'm sorry I had to cancel my plans to go to the supper. I made the horrible mistake of accepting an invitation to go (gratis) to the Falcon/Green Bay game. I just as well stayed in my room and beat my head against the wall.

Heck, I left in the third quarter and Green Bay had yet punted. I'm not sure where the Falcon defense was, but it wasn't at the game.

It was great to spend some time with Karl Stumpfe (and Kwan) and Shaun (with Martin Pieters) at the show. Great folks are they!

Well no finger pointing.
what happens at an AR gathering stays at an AR gathering.

The only negative side was that some of the guys who had a little bit too much to drink left their bill to the rest of us to pay.
Not really sporting of them. But we'll forgive them as they were not really aware of their actions by the time they left. Wink

Looking forward hooking up with every one again in future.

Johan,

I believe Dan and I paid our bill because I made it pay for the last two beers I had not paid for. However, if it was us let me know and I'll send you the cash. It was fun and thanks to everyone and to AdamHunter for hosting. Mike

Mike,
You and Dan did indeed pay. It was some other Non-AR members that did not.

However, there is still the matter of the $500 "Don't tell Mike" Merkel 470 NE double we need to discuss! Big Grin
